Hudson Restaurant Week is a bi-annual culinary celebration that started in 2005. The event has put Hoboken and Jersey City restaurants on the culinary map and has been discussed side-by-side with New York’s own event.
The event is during slow times of year for the restaurant industry which is the end of the summer in July and after the holidays in January. Approximately 30-40 restaurants participate in the event and provide pre-fixed menus at discounted prices.
Hudson Restaurant Week was created by Xplore Communications, a community marketing agency. Tamara Remedios, is the foodie behind the event, who has also brought to the area HudsonMenus.com and Hudson Deck (no longer printed) for restaurant info and discounts year-round – plus Hudson Pulse, a local event calendar and weekly email.
